NL Hotel District Leidseplein was a satisfactory stay. It was in great location that was very walkable to our destinations. The hotel room we stayed in (Room 11) was much more dated that the room shown in the pictures; particularly the bathroom. Additionally, the room was very cramped with minimal room to move around the bed that took up most of the space, and no room to open your suitcase (we had a carry on) without putting it on the bed. That being said, it was a safe area and is a good option if you're using the hotel as a place to sleep.

Helpful and friendly staff, super comfy beds spacious room and lovely little private garden that was lovely for sitting and having a morning tea. Excellent location for tourists. In a beautiful area of Amsterdam we hadn't seen before. We will definitely return on our next visit. Highly recommend

I love the location of this hotel because it is very close to public transportation and the museums. The staff is helpful and friendly. I had a room in the basement and the staff helped me carry my luggage down and up the time I checked out. I do not recommend this room if you have issues with your mobility. The room is cozy and good enough if you are not carrying a lot of luggage since the room is quite small. I was happy with my experience at this hotel.

Stayed here with my wife for four nights and the accommodation was unfortunately poor. Check in took an unnecessary amount of time and faff, with the guy behind reception demanding info we had already given and card details which we had also already given. Inexplicably took around 20 mins despite no other guests there. Our room was right next to the entrance and reception which was constantly loud, this was clearly a known issue as they provided foam earplugs... You could hear other people's conversations in neighbouring rooms and for some reason it sounded like every time someone else in the hotel flushed the toilet it came through a pipe in our room. Bathroom wasn't great, water just went everywhere from the shower and cleanliness wasn't great. The fridge in the room didn't seem to work at all. Location is pretty good however. I didn't go into this stay with particularly high expectations but left disappointed overall.

Li & Dillon made this 10 day stay so welcoming that they made it hard to leave Amsterdam. They provided tourist sites’ walking & transit directions, recommended restaurants, made our taxi and restaurant reservations, and even ordered UBER Eats. All with affection and care for our well being. Housekeeping Staff also excellent. The hotel is within walking distance of many prime sites to visit. In our 10 days we walked to Van Gogh, RIJS, Vondelpark, Anne Frank house & many more.
